Helpany: Information Sheet for Residents in Assisted Living

About Helpany
At the heart of Helpany’s product is a radar-based device called Paul, ingeniously designed to analyze motion patterns of residents, to let caregivers and residents spot an increased risk of falling and other health-related issues early on. Paul passively measures multiple well-being indicators such as gait speed, sedentary behavior or steps walked, restlessness at night and summarizes them in a frequent Health is Wealth Report.
About the Health is Wealth Report: A frequent summary of relevant health statistics based on the measured nocturnal restlessness, daily sedentary behavior, and average pace of movement is distributed directly to the residents.
About the Smart Night-Light: The nightlight enhances safety by automatically illuminating when movement is detected at night. It provides orientation in the dark and reduces fall risks, and can be activated in the bedroom, living room, or both.
Nighttime Preventive Alarms: Since falls are more likely to happen at night, having your caregiver informed means they can assist you if needed and lower your risk of falling. How it works:
- When you are awake and getting up at night (e.g. walking to the kitchen), Paul will spot that you1re up and about and inform caregivers.
- Caregivers will receive a preventive alarm, as soon as Paul detected you moving around at night.
- The caregivers will then be able to assist you accordingly and help you stay safe.
